WagJag and Tuango Acquisition FAQ
On August 7th, Tuango.ca acquired the Quebec assets of Deal of the Day and WagJag.com acquired the assets of Deal of the Day related to the rest of Canada. In addition to the FAQ below, you can also access the WagJag FAQ or the Tuango FAQ.
What are the benefits of these alliances?
These alliances will allow you to take advantage of a wider array of high quality offers including restaurants, spas, getaways, activities and events as well as high end products. Furthermore, you will be able to enjoy exclusive local deals specific to your region. If you're outside Quebec, you will receive these deals from WagJag. If you're from Quebec, you will receive these deals from Tuango.
What will happen with the Deal of the Day website and its daily offers?
The integration of Deal of the Day to WagJag/Tuango will be progressive. In the meantime, the Deal of the Day website will remain operational and you will continue to receive their daily emails. Within couple of weeks, the Deal of the Day website will cease its activities. Its other members will be transferred to WagJag and its members from Quebec will be transferred to Tuango.
What emails will I be receiving from WagJag/Tuango?
If you're outside Quebec, you will be receiving great local offers, travel offers from Jaunt, WagJag Grocery offers, WagJag Golf offers, and special feature offers. If you're from Quebec, you will receive the daily offers from Tuango.
How do I manage my email preferences if I want to opt-out of specific emails?
Once you have been migrated to WagJag or Tuango, you can manage your email preference by clicking on the link in the footer of every WagJag/Tuango daily deal email you receive.
Do I automatically become a WagJag or Tuango member?
Yes. Since Tuango.ca and WagJag.com have acquired the Deal of the Day assets, its members subscribed will be transferred over to Tuango or WagJag. A member from Quebec will automatically become a Tuango member. And a member outside Quebec will automatically become a WagJag member.
What if I'm already a Tuango or WagJag member?
If you are already a Tuango or a WagJag member, your account will not be duplicated. You will continue to receive the respective daily offers, as usual.
Will my Deal of the Day account and saved information be transferred to Tuango and WagJag?
Once the integration is completed, you will become either a Tuango.ca or a WagJag.com member and will receive daily deals in your region. A Tuango or WagJag account will be created for you. Please note, however, that your Deal of the Day vouchers will not be transferred into your Tuango or WagJag account. You will continue being able to access your vouchers directly on the Deal of the Day site with the same login & password as before.
Will my credit card information be transferred to WagJag or Tuango?
No. Your payment information has never been saved on Deal of the Day. Therefore, it cannot be transferred to WagJag or Tuango.
What will happen to my Deal of the Day credits ($)?
Your credits will remain in your Deal of the Day account during the transition. Once the transfer is made, your credits will automatically appear in your respective WagJag or Tuango account and will be available to be used towards your future purchases.
What will happen to my Deal of the Day coupons?
Your Deal of the Day vouchers will not be transferred into your WagJag or Tuango account. You will continue being able to access your vouchers directly on the Deal of the Day site with the same login & password as before. Deal of the Day vouchers will be honored by the merchants based on the established conditions.
Which refund policy applies to the purchases made on Deal of the Day?
The terms and conditions applicable are those of the website on which you have made the purchase of the offer.

If you have any questions regarding a purchase previously made on Deal of the Day please submit a customer support ticket to support@dotd.ca and we will respond to you as quickly as possible.
