Received $185 today, one week (actually 6 days) after my first payroll deposit as promised. I'm now a happy ING customer. Thanks for the deal, RFD!!

How long do I need to keep my pay going into this account? Can I withdraw all of my money and close the account after the first payroll deposit is made?

I have a monthly expense reimbursement coming from my place of employment, does this qualify for this deal?

It seems to me many of us could get burned. They have to get my check through the post, which I mail on July 25, in order to assign me a checking account. So I will get my checking account number after the July payroll has gone through. Then they are supposed to get the August paycheck, but it won't arrive from my employer until September 1 at least. So they won't have to give me $185 after all. I will attempt this, but my chances look pretty low. I would give them 20%. Don't smart bankers do things like this to us on purpose?
